Eyelash Extensions
Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness and thickness of natural eyelashes. Lash extensions are semi-permanent eye lashes, lasting up to 4-6 weeks depending on the life cycle of your own natural lash. Your individual eyelashes grow out on a continuous cycle of replenishment.
Eyelash extension are created with different diameters for different purposes. Avoid anything that is too thick for most natural lashes to handle.
Lash extensions are most commonly separated into Classic and Volume. Classic being one synthetic lash to one natural lash. Volume lashes are separate lashes that are applied with the volume technique where very fine, light and soft lashes are put together into a small fan, then added to one natural lash.
After Care
After care is essential to long lasting extensions.
- Do not get them wet, do not use steam, exercise or other physical activities where sweat can occur for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid anything oil based as it will break down the adhesive.
- Do not use mascara, it makes the fan stick together.
- It’s good to wash the lashes every day. Use lash shampoo so that all grease is removed. The result is better duration.
